THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS

Mighty Woman of God!  I pray that the Spirit of the Lord rest upon you and your family. I speak peace and joy into your life and that you are blessed and highly favored of the Lord as you follow after Him.

(Psalms 17:8-9 and 27:5), Keep me as the apple of the eye, hide me under the shadow of thy wings, From the wicked that oppress med from my deadly enemies, who compass me about. (27:5), For in the time of trouble he shall hide me in his pavilion: in the secret of his tabernacle shall he hide me, he shall set me up upon a rock.

If you have a relationship with God, then you are the apple of His eye. Being hidden under the shadow of His wings from your enemies, that does not necessary mean physical bodies because the Word of God says, "We wrestle not against flesh and blood but principalities (meaning demonic spirits) that the devil sends to keep you in a state of hopelessness.  So don't look at the person, look at the demonic spirit that is operating in that persons life.

God has a way of keeping you hidden until He is ready to release you out into the public.  While you are hidden in the pavilion, He is working on your character, your discernment, deliverance, health, your spirit and anything else that you will need to fight the good fight in this world.

Whatever you are going through, it will end, as long as you trust in God and let Him handle it.  It is very hard to  do that because we don't see what God sees.  We see how horrible the problems is now, but God sees the outcome.  It may feel like you're in track and field and those hurdles come pretty quickly.  The runner knows that they're there but the runner also knows that soon those will be over and they reach that finish line.

It seems like as soon as you overcome one mountain, here comes another, "The Young and the Restless", what do you do?  It is easy to become "Young and Restless" when you are going through troubles, as you grow in God, He will give you a spirit of discernment.  You need discernment if you are going to make it through this life.  Discernment can keep you out of some of the situations that you encounter. When things get to the point where you really get restless, remember (Psalms 17:5) and imagine yourself resting in the wings of God.  PRAISE GOD!

Heavenly Father, I pray that You forgive me for my sins.  I thank You Lord Jesus for dying on the cross for my sins.  I pray that You keep me hidden from being oppressed by any demonic spirit that I am opening dealing with.  I believe that You will keep me hidden and that I can rest in You.  Thank you, in Jesus Name, Amen!

CARBON COPY

Mighty woman of God!  I speak blessings of love, peace and joy upon your live today.  Message has a little sting, so keep an open mind as you read.

(2 Tim. 3:5-7), For although they hold a form of piety (true religion), they deny and reject and are strangers to the power of it (their conduct belies the genuineness of their profession).  Avoid all such people (turn away from them).

Having a form of godliness. You can't change the original.  No matter how many times you look at that carbon copy, you cannot change it to be the original.  Satan is very cunning and will not hesitate to send you a form of a godly man.  If you wait on the Lord to send you the man that He has already chosen for you, before you were even in existence, you will get the original version.  A lot of times, we as women, try to change the character or personality of a man.  Now, I am not saying that a man cannot or won't change certain things about himself, mainly because we change certain things due to age, however, it takes God and only God to change a man's character. 

  

God never intended for you to live in bondage with a man?  You are God's beautiful creation and He does not want you to be beat on, cheated on and cursed out everyday?  Women tend to put up with a lot of things from a man waiting for that carbon copy to become an original.

I pray that I have touched someone's heart, even though this message sounds a little harsh, we as women need to value ourselves more than any man.  Once we begin to value ourselves and become jealous over ourselves we can move out of bondage from a man and live in peace and harmony with God.

Heavenly Father, I pray that you protect and safeguard my sisters, and that you remind them daily that they are love by You and that You will keep them in perfect peace as their minds are stayed only You, in Jesus name Amen!

CHARACTER, WISDOM, KNOWLEDGE

Good Morning, Mighty Woman of God.  I pray that you are having a blessed day and that you prosper spiritually as you seek after our Lord Jesus Christ.

For those of you that are new to the ministry, the Lord has instructed me to go through the Book of Proverbs this month.  The Book of Proverbs is about wisdom, knowledge and building your character.  God wants to change us from the inside out and in the end, your character and integrity will show others that you have had wise council by the Word of God.

I have been reading a chapter a day and I have really been blessed.  Yes, I am working on my character as well.

(Proverbs: 11:13), A gossip betrays a confidence, but a trustworthy woman keeps a secret. (Proverbs:12:18), Reckless words pierce like a sword, but the tongue of the wise brings healing.

Okay ladies I'll be the first to admit that I have not always lived my life by those two scriptures.  Being a leader and having a ministry, I have to be trustworthy.

One thing that I realized is that keeping a secret or being a trustworthy person means a lot to people.  If you are gossiping about people, that means that you are not keeping their secret told to you in confidence.  Ladies, one thing about us is that we talk too much.  Yes, I said it, we talk entirely too much.  If you are telling someone else business you cannot be trusted and God cannot use a woman that cannot be trusted.

Reckless words are the words spoken out of your mouth that hurts other people.  Whether you are betraying their trust or speaking harshly to them, you are hurting them.  God says, it like a sword piercing through that person's body.  Imagine getting stabbed with a knife, it hurts and each time that you use your mouth to speak harshly to someone or betray a friends trust; you are hurting someone.

If you are wise and use the wisdom of God when you speak, you can bring forth good fruit and healing to your sister in Christ.  One of the ways that we can use wisdom in our speech is to ask God, will what I say or do, hurt someone else.  PRAISE GOD!

Heavenly Father, forgive me for not being a trustworthy woman of God.  Father, I know that I need to be wise, speak wisdom in order for you to use me for Your glory.  Father, I ask that you create in me a clean heart and a righteous spirit so that I can be used by You, in Jesus name, AMEN!

P.O.W.

Hello, Mighty Woman of God, I pray that today's message will touch your heart and will be of comfort and encouragement no matter where you are in your spiritual walk with Jesus Christ.

(2 Corinthians 10:3-6), For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh: (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds;) Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalt itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ; And having in a readiness to revenge all disobedience, when your obedience is fulfilled.

P.O.W. (Prisoner of War).  As we have all seen a movie either on the big screen or television about a war movie where someone was captured by the enemy and held captive for a long amount of time. The enemy tortures that prisoner until he breaks and does whatever the enemy ask of him.

Some of us are P.O.W.'s.  Even though we are saved and believe with all our hearts that Jesus is our Lord and Savior.  But for some reason, we are still P.O.W.'s.  

You are tortured about past or present history with men, spousal abuse, drugs and alcohol.  God is not bringing your past up over and over again, its the enemy.  The enemy is trying to torture you until you give up or return to something that the Lord has delivered you from.  You can be destructive to yourself if you continue to allow the enemy to whisper sweet nothings in your ears.  That's right, it's nothing.  God has plans for you and it does not include torture or torment. 

So what do you do?  How do you break free, once and for all of the enemy?  You tell your story.  We overcome the enemy by our testimonies.  When you open your mouth and tell your story, (I mean to someone that you can trust), the enemy is weakened.  He is basically saying to himself, "Dag, she's no longer ashamed.  I can't torture her with that anymore".  The next step is to remember that your weapons are not carnal but they are MIGHTY.  What are your weapons?  The WORD of God, prayer, Make up in your mind that your will no longer be torture by the enemy, you will no longer live as his captive, you are no longer going to be a P.O.W.  AMEN!

Heavenly Father, I pray that you forgive me for my sins.  Father, forgive me for the things that I might have done to my body with drugs, alcohol and men.  Father help me to accept your forgiveness so that I can move forward in my life and live a life of freedom, holding back no praise and worship that you desire from me.  Lord Jesus, I know that you love me and I accept your love.  I love you too, Lord, even when I don't express that love all the time.  I receive your blessings for my life, in Jesus name, Amen.

ALL HAVE SINNED . . . EVEN YOU

Good morning, Mighty Women of God.  I pray that you are blessed by today's blog and also that you are blessed with whatever you are believing the Lord God to do for you in your life.

 

Today I was reading The Everyday Life Bible and so I'm blogging something from her Bible.  Let me just say this, she does not have a special bible but she has quotes from different scriptures in the bible.

 

We sometimes fall into the trap of thinking we are the worst people o the face of the earth and that nobody does as many wrong things as we do.  But Romans 3:23 says, that all have sinned and fallen short of the glory (excellence) of God.  Every man, woman, or child who was every born, or ever will be, has a problem with sin.  But the good news is that God has provided an answer to our dilemma.

 

Satan wants us to feel wrong, worthless, and like hopeless messes.  He knows that without confidence we will never step out in faith to fulfill our God-ordained destinies.  He know if he can keep us in the prison of self-hatred, self-rejection, or just plain not liking ourselves that he will prevent us from make progress forever being a threat to him and to the kingdom of darkness.

 

When I started "Spiritual Growth for Women Ministry", I promise that I would always be open for you to ask me anything or pray about anything. 

 

In fact, the back of my books read, there is nothing that will every tell me that will surprise or make me to think that I'm a better woman.  I am not homeless right now, but I used to be.  I am not living in a women's shelter, but I used to be.  I am not on drugs right now, but I used to be.  I am not in a twelve step program but I used to be.  The Lord has entrusted me with this ministry, because I used to be . . .

 

Heavenly Father I thank you that today is my special day.  Today is the day that I'm just going to receive Your love for me.  To receive Your forgiveness for me.  Today is the day that I am going to love myself and hug myself.  Today is the day that I'll look in the mirror and say, "I love you" to me.  And Lord and I know that You love me Lord through all my impurities and through all my sin, You are always loving me.  Thank you Lord, Amen.

Good Morning Mighty Women of God!

I keep a journal of my prayers, questions, scriptures, and anything the Holy Spirit has me to write.

"I can't seem to read my Bible.  I feel like I have really messed things up so bad this time.  There's not anything good for me.  I messed up everything in the Word.  All the things I should not do, I did.  God surely will not blessed me anymore.  I have let Him down for the last time, promises I just did not keep.  What's the point in praying, He is not going to listen to me anymore, I've really done it this time."

 

I wrote that on July 19, 2010.  I thought Jesus would no longer use me for His glory.  Thought I messed up so bad.  I was lead to read (Romans 7:14-20).  Let me explain to you what the writer (Paul) is saying here.  Paul is reminded that sin will always be in the world, until Jesus comes back for us.  You see Paul was once a murderer and tax collector (before he became a disciple of Jesus Christ).  This scripture helps to remind me that sin is always going to be in the world.  Always waiting for us to mess up, so that we can feel so ashamed and feel that the Lord has turned His back on us.  Let me encourage you.  "I will never leave nor forsake you", thus saith the Lord.  The devil is a liar and deceiver, that's his job.  Just like you go to work everyday, so does he. Satan is constantly going to and fro acccusing the saints but we have a High Priest that interceds on our behalf.

 

The next time you feel that you have MESSED UP so badly, and the devil is speaking into your ears, think about this:  We serve a compassionate God, He is our Heavenly Father.  There is nothing that you did in the past or will do in the future that will surprised Him.  Isn't that awesome!  The Lord is omniscient (knows all).  He has already made provisions for your mistakes.  God knows everything about you, let me correct that the Lord knew everything about you.  If He didn't love you, have mercy upon you, you would not have even been born.  Satan wants you to believe that there is know hope for you.

 

The next time satan whispers in your ear, that you are no good, and tries to remind you about your shortcomings, you remind him that Jesus Christ the Messiah defeated him took the keys of hell from him and your sins are all PAID IN FULL. The begin to praise God.  Let's us pray!

Father God we thank you for your Word today. Help us to realize when we feel we have messed up so badly, that is the time to pray more fervently.  By the power of the Holy Spirit we come against any attack that we may be under, right now.  We speak blessings and not curses upon our lives and generations to come.  We plead the Blood of Jesus over our marriages, finances and children.  You said in your Word that we have the power to speak the Word and it shall come to past.  We are believing and trusting in you Jesus for guidance, wisdom and knowledge on today.  We thank you Lord Jesus Christ for your blood that was shed for all the sins of the world.  We honor, worship and adore you, in Jesus Name Amen.

PEOPLE PLEASURES

Good Morning, Mighty Women of God!

I glorify the Lord on today.  I pray that the Lord continues to bless you as you seek diligently after Him.

Everyone has to overcome some kind of fear.  You are not alone.  God will deliver you from all your fears and give you the courage you need.

"Do not be afraid of their faces.  For I am with you to deliver you," says the Lord. (Jeremiah 1:8)
"The fear of man brings a snare, but whoever puts his trust in the Lord will be safe." (Proverbs 29:25)
 

You see 'people pleasers' don't do anything they want to do, they do what they think they should be doing.  People pleasers worry about what people in church, on the job and even in our families are saying about us.  We don't want to cause any trouble, at any time, so we tend to go along with the most popular thing is going at that time.  A lot of 'people pleaser' are in the church.  You aren't yourself around other members of the church in fear that they will judge you by the things you say, the way you act, or even the fact that they are still struggling with issues.

If you have people in your life that make you feel intimidated, remember that you are just as good as they are.  It does not matter what a position they hold in your church.  Remember that God is not a respecter of persons and no one is without sin. 

Heavenly Father I sing with the angels on today, which sing praises to You and are not looking down on me.  I pray dear Lord that You remove the spirit of intimation off my me.  Deliver me Father and replace it with strength and power and your anointed.  Cover my head dear Lord so that the enemy will not enter into my life again.  Thank You so much for Your love for me, in Jesus name, Amen!

TAKING BACK YOUR REMOTE.

Hello, my sisters in Christ Jesus.  Sometimes I will find it necessary to repost certain blogs.  This blog is something that needs to hit home from some of us.

(James 1:17)  Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heaven lights, who does not change like shifting. 
 

Mighty woman of God, My question to you is, “Does someone else have your remote? By this, I’m asking, are you allowing someone else to control you? Do their reactions determine what type of day you will have emotionally and abusive? 

In my early 30's, I gave my remote to someone.  I had no control over anything in my life because of this person.  I went through mental, physical and emotional abuse everyday, just pick one.  He knew which buttons to press to make my life a living hell.  Whatever he said, I did, just to keep peace in my house.

One day I heard the Spirit of the Lord say to me, "Who are you?" I had no idea.  Never in a million years would I have thought that I would be so lost and allowing someone else to control me and my actions. I would buy locks and change the doors only to give him the key.

Every good and perfect gift comes from above (the Spirit of the Lord, Comforter).  For 10 years I ignored that scripture.  Sometimes we tend to brush over the scripture that God wants you to read and although we read it, we still say, that's not me.

A perfect gift doesn't bring sorrow, into your home.  The devil knows the Word of God.  He even knows your dislikes and likes and he will surely send you replica not the Hold on to your own remote, it's your life, make up in your mind that you will no longer allow someone else to change your channel from peace to sorrow, joy to bitterness and hatred. LET US PRAY!

Heavenly Father, I give You all the praise and honor on today.  Lord, I pray that You give me the strength to take back whatever the enemy has stolen from me.  I pray also for wisdom and knowledge concerning any situation that may be controlling me.  Lord, I want to walk under Your guidance and authority.  Lord, I thank you for giving me strength to control my own life, and that I will have no fear to take back my remote.  I thank You Lord, for keeping me safe through this journey of my life, in Jesus name, Amen. 

FILL ME UP GOD

Good morning, Mighty Woman of God.  I pray that you are truly filling the blessings of God no matter what the situation may look like.  God will fill your vessel.

 

Proverbs:  Take away the dross from the silver, and here will come forth a vessel for the finer. 

Proverbs:  Take away the dross from the silver, and the smith has material for a vessel.

 

Mighty woman of God, it's time for you to purge out the old and allow the new to come in.  The Lord God wants to give you new gifts and blessings from Him.  A lot of times we want to hold on to the old things (addictions . . . etc.).  God can't refill your vessel (your spirituality) until you get rid of the things of old.

 

God gave me a parable for you.  I love to watch movies that have wars like the "Lord of the Rings" and "Brave heart".  I always wondered how they were able to get drinking from that leather looking bag.  I mean what is holding that pouch together before they were able to refill their pouch.   The Lord God will keep your vessel full.  He will not allow your well to run dry.  Don't let the devil put a hole in your bag.  God wants you to pour out your vessel everyday to preach, teach and pour out to the Body of Christ and as you pour out of your spirit God will fill you up.  Amen.

 

Heavenly Father I pray and rejoice Your name in spirit and in truth.  I am coming to you as a living and willing vessel.  God I know that I still have to work on some character traits so I thank you my Lord for using me as vessel for You.  As I pour out to your people, you will fill me up with Your spirit, in Jesus name.

GRAIN ON THE MOUNTAINTOP

Good morning, Mighty Woman of God.  I pray that today's message will be a blessing to you.  And that you are blessed and highly favored by our Lord Jesus Christ and that you prosper in all that you do, as you seek after Him.

Well, we're still in the Book of Proverbs but I'm going to post something that was a blessing to me, from Our Daily Bread, reading that I do daily.

Solomon, who wrote Psalm 72, asked God for "an abundance of grain  . . . on the top of the mountains," to characterize his reign as King.  If grain on the mountain is so unusual, what is Solomon suggesting?  That God's power can produce results in even the most unpromising soil?

Perhaps you think of yourself as a little person, with very little to bring to the kingdom.  Take courage: God can produce an abundant harvest through you.  This is one of the ironies of faith:  God uses the insignificant to accomplish the great.  Not many of us are wise or noble; most of us are anonymous and far from extraordinary.  Yet all of us can be used.  And contrary to what we might think, it is because of our weakness that we can be used by God (1 Cor. 1:27-29; 2Cor. 12:10).

It is possible to be too big or proud for God to use, but we can never be too little.  "Out of weakness" we are "made strong" (Heb. 11:34).  By God's great power, we can do all that He has called us to do.

Pray:  Lord, You work through such common things, those of us with flaws and weaknesses.  We are in awe of Your power and humbled by Your choice of us.  Our hearts long to be faithful to You.

I HATE HIM / HER

Good morning, Mighty Woman of God.  I speak blessings of our Lord Jesus Christ upon you and pray that you are not only blessed by Him but that you blessed others today.

I know that the title today has got you wondering what today's blog could possibly be about. Sometimes we may say to ourselves the word HATE is such a strong word, so we may chose to use another word like DISLIKE.  But the truth of the matter is HATE is exactly how we may feel.

As long as we are not calling the devil out by who he is and the oppression that he brings with him, he will continue to have control over our lives.  All that the devil needs is an open window and he will surely open the door for other demonic spirits to come upon us.

The Lord kept reminding me over and over about the fact that I had unfinished business with someone that hurt me, tormented me and did a whole lot of other things to me.  The Lord repeatedly told me to pray and forgive him.

While on my knees one day, I tried to pray for him but no words would come out.  I didn't want to pray for him.  I didn't want to wish him well and I didn't .  I didn't want to think of him in the same atmosphere as my prayer time with the Lord.  So I stayed on my knees  . . . saying nothing.  Thinking about how hurt I was and remiensing going over several instances of pain that was inflicted on me for years.  Tears began to run down my cheeks and all of a sudden I screamed to the top of my lungs, LORD I HATE HIM.  There, I said it, and I meant it with every part of my being. I HATE HIM.  The tears increased but I began to feel better because at that moment the Lord begin to heal me.  After all those years I would say to myself, I do forgive him, but I didn't not want that part of my heart to reveal the truth.

I fell to remember that the Lord knew how I felt.  The Lord can go into those deep parts of pain and hurt that we truly feel.  The Lord knows how we feel in our hearts but He wants us to say it out loud. When we say it aloud we put the devil on notice.

Maybe today is the day that you call out that demonic spirit, put him on notice that it was in the past and you refuse to allow him to have any part of your future.  Call out that spirit that beat on you, kicked you, cheated on you, raped you, stole your childhood by molesting you.  Some of you have not forgiven your mother because you feel that she didn't do a good job protecting you and allowed someone to keep raping you over and over.  Maybe she never even believed you.  It's time to be truthful shout it out and allow the Lord to begin healing you.  You weren't broken overnight and it may take some time to heal . . . but at least the healing has begun.

Heavenly Father, by the power given to me by the Holy Spirit, I speak healing into my sisters life.  I speak that she will began to allow you to begin healing in her heart as she forgives those that have hurt her so badly.  I speak that the devil will no longer have control over that part of her being. Thank you Lord for being merciful and knowing her heart.  In Jesus name, Amen.
