STICKS AND STONES

Good morning, I speak blessings of peace, love, and joy upon your life and may you gain wisdom and understanding as you seek after our Lord Jesus Christ. 

(John 8:7) But Jesus stooped down, and with his finger wrote on the ground, as though he heard them not. So when they continued asking him, he lifted up himself, and said unto them, He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her.

Sticks and Stones my break my bones, but words will never hurt me.  I remember that saying when I was growing up.  

You know sometimes we think it is a good idea to always say what's on our mind.  We try to justify it by saying, we are trying to help our sister, friend or co-worker.  And often times we say, "I just have to get this off my chest".  So then are we really saying,

• I don't care anything about your feelings, and I'm going to say how I feel anyway".
• I don't care if you get more depressed than you already are, I going to get this off my chest".
• I don't care if you start to feel worthless or not, I'm going to say it anyway".
• I don't care if you start to cry once I get this off my chest".
• I'm not judging your situation, but if it was me I would do so and so".
• 
  

There are so many times that we should seek Godly counsel on how to speak to our spouses, family, and friends but we don't ask God.  Sometimes your friend doesn't need to hear (girl if it was me, I would . . . ) And I must say this, maybe it might be time to change your circle of friends because they like you being miserable. Instead of saying, "Let's pray about it", they rather say, "I told you, girl".

Sometimes you don't know if what you say to someone will hurt their feelings and sometimes we don't even care.  We just open our mouths and let the hurt out.

Sticks and stones may break your bones our words will never hurt me.  That's just is not true.  Words are very powerful.  Rather than building up one another, we flatter, gossip, slander and give our family and friends them a piece of our minds.

Heavenly Father, I thank You for making me as I am, even my tongue.  Father I pray that I will allow you to speak for me and through me. And teach me how to give Godly counsel to people.  I am asking you for forgiveness for not being more careful of the words that come out of my mouth. Thank You Lord Jesus, AMEN.

THE PILOT

Good Morning, Mighty Woman of God.

I pray that you are all having a blessed day and I continue to pray for each of you. Today we've got to put on our spiritual caps for today's lesson.

The other day I watched a movie that was about a pilot that had to land the plane with a full passenger on the airplane.  This is the analogy that the Holy Spiritual gave to me. 

Sometimes the Spirit of the Lord has to navigate you higher than you expected.  You are on the right path in your spiritual journey but you can't see the devil but the Pilot (Jesus) sees everything.  The Lord says, no matter how much turbulence is ahead, He's going to make sure that you reach your destiny safely.  The Lord has to fly you over the storm and in doing that He is raising you above the storm.  

The Lord is saying, to you don't be afraid of the unknown, He is the Pilot of your life and you will fly much higher than that plane.  Don't worry about the turbulence or the storm, He's got you and don't let Satan trick you by telling you that you're not going to complete your Spiritual Journey.  Relax and allow the Lord to guide you over the storms and the turbulence.

Heavenly Father I please forgive me for my sins.  Thank you for Your Spirit that lives on the inside of me.  I know that I don't always follow my path and I ask for you to have mercy on me.  I thank you for not only watching over me but for covering me through the storms of my life.  And when the road seems rocky, turbulence, and storms I am going to trust You Lord, in Jesus name, AMEN

THE BLESSING OF THE LORD

Good morning, Sisters and Brothers in Christ Jesus, My prayer is that you are blessed by our Lord Jesus Christ on today, seek Him early everyday.

(Proverbs 10:22),   The blessings of the Lord makes one rich and He adds no sorrow with it.

I want to tell you a short story something that I went through at a time in my life where I felt lonely. I was tired of hearing what my co-workers did over the weekend.  I didn't have a story to tell everybody because I didn't have a man to party with on the weekend.  No flowers being delivered to my job.  No candy, no lunches..

One day I was so-called lonely, I can remember swinging on a swing with my son.  I prayed that the Lord would send me a man.  Yep, that was my prayer, Lord send me a man (I'm serious, those were my exact words).  Shortly after I prayed that prayer, I met a guy at my work and we started having lunches together.  And the best part about this guy (that later became my second husband) was that he always had good weed to smoke.

To make a long story short, I spent 10 years in what I call living hell.  He was abusive to me, very abusive.  Drugs kept me sane and I also married him even though he was abusing me.  Why?  I don't know.  Drugs make you forget about what's right or wrong.  Drugs make you blind to reality.

The prayer that I pray was also heard by Satan, that's why he showed up so quickly. I thought it was a blessing from God.  The blessings of the Lord makes one rich (mind, body, spirit) He adds no sorrow with it.

Heavenly Father, my prayer today is that you comfort those that mourn from their so-called blessing that is leaving them in a state of sorrow.  Place a hedge of protection around them as they go through a habit they need to be delivered from. For those in an abusive relationship, I pray that they are kept safe and the children, in Jesus name AMEN!

Sad to say, sometimes we discover people are also against us.  Satan does not always work alone in the spiritual realm; he also works through people in the natural realm.  He attacks our confidence through the things people say or do not say.  He can cause us to feel unworthy or rejected because of another person's words or actions.

Most of us, to some extent, need to be delivered from the fear of people and from caring too much about what others think.  People who always need the approval of others desperately want everyone to look at them from head to toe and say, "Perfect."  when they do any kind of a job, they want everybody to look at it and say, "Perfect."  In everything they do -- the way they look, the things they say, every action they take -- they want people to say, "Perfect".

We need to be confident that God accepts us with our imperfections.  Even though He continues to work in us to make us more Christlike, we do not have to struggle to win His approval or the approval of others.  If God is for us -- and He is -- we do not need to fear anyone who is against us.

Heavenly Father, I pray that today, that the women of God are released from the spirit of fear, that causes them to need the approval of man.  I pray dear Lord that you place on the inside of the women the spirit of adoption and by that knowing without any doubt that Your approval and Your love, and Your acceptance is the only thing that they should seek after. Lord I also pray that Your release the women from the spirit of shame.  I am hearing You right now that the spirit of shame and guilt is not of You and that Your are loving them, not matter what.  Don't let them sink into the spirit of fear, shame or guilt, thank you for Your Spirit (the Holy Spirit) that you are releasing upon them today.  In Jesus Christ name, Amen.

There are so many times that we should seek God's counsel on how to speak to our spouses and friends but we don't ask God.  Sometimes you don't know if what you say to someone will hurt their feelings and sometimes we don't even care.  We just open our mouths and let the hurt out.  Maybe getting something off your chest is not the right thing to do at that moment.  You think that you may be helping your spouse or friend by getting it off your chest.  Maybe you should carry it on your chest a little bit longer until God tells you how to say or do something for that person.  Sometimes getting it off your chest will make someone else's chest hurt.

Sticks and stones may break but bones, but words will never hurt me.  That's just is not true.  Some words hurt people or contribute to their low self-esteem.  Words are powerful.  Rather than building up one another, we flatter, gossip, slander and give them a piece of our minds.

Heavenly Father, I thank You for making me as I am, even my tongue.  Father I am praying that you give me a heart for my sister and therefore when I want to say something, I pray that you will give me discernment.  Discernment as to when and how I should speak to someone.  I am asking you for forgiveness for not watching over the words that I speak.  Thank You Lord Jesus, AMEN.
